DAY 12

God's Righteousness

Read this verse twice slowly, focusing on the important words and ideas.

Romans 3:25-26 Whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Below are four ways you can pray through Romans 3:25-26 personally or with your family.

Confession: God, I confess doubting that You love me at my worst.
Adoration: I adore You for being completely perfect, knowing no sin. You are just, holy, and set apart.
Thanksgiving: Lord, thank You for the extraordinary gift of righteousness that is secured through Christ’s redemptive work on the cross.
Supplication: Help me daily live out my identity in Jesus, showing others that I have been completely transformed and made new.
