DAY 5

God is All-Powerful

Read this verse twice slowly, focusing on the important words and ideas.

Revelation 19:6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.”

Below are four ways you can pray through Revelation 19:6 personally or with your family.

Confession: My faith in Your almighty power is all too often weak. I so often measure Your power by how I feel instead of what You’ve done. I need to change. Without Your power, I can’t.
Adoration: Through Jesus, You have demonstrated ultimate power over disaster, demons, disease and even death. Nothing is too hard for You. You are the Almighty One! You alone reign in power!
Thanksgiving: The same power You could have used to justly punish me, is the same power You use to graciously pursue me. Hallelujah, thank You, Lord!
Supplication: If You are powerful enough to reverse the curse of death, then You are powerful enough to meet my every need. In view of your resurrection power, strengthen me to know Your purpose, trust in Your plan and enjoy Your promises for today.
