God’s Omnipotence

Read this verse twice slowly, focusing on important words and ideas.

Job 42:1-2 Then Job answered the Lord and said: “I know that you can do all things and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”

Below are four ways you can pray through Job 42:1-2 personally or with your family.

Confession: I confess that I have given up on praying for that one thing in my life and for doubting Your power.
Adoration: I adore You for being a God who is omnipotent, who has the power to do anything.
Thanksgiving: Lord, I am thankful that my life is in the hands of the all-powerful One.
Supplication: Lord, today help me to pray and have trust again in your omnipotence and purpose for my life. Help me trust You with my one thing that I am praying for, as Pastor Bruce mentioned in his sermon.
