Who is Adventure Week for?

Adventure Week is for rising Kindergarteners through 5th graders. (Upcoming grade, must be 5 by August 31st). Preschoolers can enjoy our online live stream! If you are volunteering on-site and have a preschool aged child, they will take part in an age appropriate experience. Adventure Week will need adult volunteers, but students (rising 6th-12th grade) are encouraged to volunteer, too!

Do I need to register?

Each participant and volunteer should be registered. You can do that by clicking the volunteer links above. If you can’t attend for all 3 days, still register. You can let your child’s crew leader know when they will not be there. Be sure your contact information at the time of registration is correct. This is how you will receive all information and communications about Adventure Week.

How will arrival and dismissal work?

You should arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start time of Adventure Week to get your child securely checked in and to their appropriate class environment. A name tag and parent security tag will be provided each day. You must present the parent security tag at the time of pick-up (a physical copy is required, no photos). By arriving 15 minutes early for pick-up, parents and siblings may watch the closing session of Adventure Week each day. A parent security tag is required for admittance.

Is there an Online Experience?

Make sure you are registered to get our live stream link by email and each days printable activities. Live streaming will take place each morning during the opening session from 9:00-9:45AM. A digital resource will be provided to you for lesson and craft ideas you can do at home.

What Covid Measures will be in place?

Biltmore kids will continue to monitor suggested guidelines and consult medical professionals to provide a safe and secure environment for your kids. during adventure week. Hand sanitizer will be provided in all areas. Snacks will be individually wrapped and pre-packaged. Kids and volunteers who have been exposed to Covid-19 (or show symptoms) 10 days prior to Adventure Week should stay home. Communications will be sent out with exact protocols prior to Adventure week.
