The Chronicles of Average Joe

Meet Joe. He’s pretty average. Joe has a story.  He has issues. He often talks too much. He’s inconsistent. We may think that Joe is different from all of us. But the truth is, we actually have a lot in common with him. And since our stories are so similar to Joe’s, we can all learn from his. Join us online Sundays, at 9:15 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM.

21 Days Of Prayer - 2020

2020 for most has been a year of fear, difficulty, or waiting for circumstances to change. 21 days may seem like an insignificant amount of time, but 21 days can change everything... because prayer can change everything!

The Gospel Changes Everything

The Gospel is what drove the apostle Paul and changed the way he saw everything. God wants that for us, too. In Paul's letter to the church in Philippi, we see that the gospel changes our identity, the way we view people, circumstances, adversaries, our purpose, blessings, contentment, even death. The Gospel changes everything!

What To Do When Life Gets Hard

It's no secret that life has gotten hard for a lot of us over the last few weeks. It seems like everywhere you turn, there's anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. So what do we do when life gets hard?

Easter 2020

Even though we're facing tough times, we still have reason to celebrate - and that reason is Jesus.

Biltmore Church At Home

We're facing times unlike we've ever faced before. Things can be frightening and uncertain, but that doesn't mean God is silent. You can't quarantine the Gospel. As we transition into a season where we can't "go to church" we can still "be the church."

Romans 8

It's been called the greatest chapter in the Bible. In Romans chapter 8, we see more facts about God’s love for us in the gospel than any other chapter in the Bible. It changes the way we see ourselves, our temptations, our trials. And real, rewarding change can occur.

Mountains Can Move

There are some mountains in life that we haven’t been able to move for months, or even years. These strongholds can consume our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It’s easy to think, “can things really get better?... or will it always be this way?” The reality is, it can be different. Things can change. Mountains can move.

Christmas 2019

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:  “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Matthew 1:21-23

Advent

In this day and age, we all want things instantly. Advent is a season of waiting, expectation, and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. This Advent season, we want to slow down and intentionally focus on Jesus' birth.

Love Your Neighbor

Someone once asked Jesus, “Which commandment is the greatest?” In other words, ‘of the over 600 commands, what is at the very top?’ Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus links the two together, meaning you can’t have one without the other. In this series, we will discover how to love others from the source of loving God.
