On Sunday, November 24th, we’ll mobilize over a thousand volunteers to serve under-resourced families in Western North Carolina. We’ve partnered with the local school systems in Buncombe, Henderson, and Macon counties to identify 1,000 elementary-age children who are currently in the greatest need. Together with Walmart and Union Transfer & Storage, we’ll bless each child with winter clothes and a Christmas gift. Following our Sunday services, volunteer teams will meet at every campus to help package and deliver gifts to each family.
We’ll meet following our Sunday services to wrap and pack winter clothes and gifts for children in need, then go out into the community to deliver them to each family.
Through our partnerships with Walmart and Union Transfer & Storage, $150 will provide a child with a winter coat, sweatshirt, pants, socks, boots, winter hat, gloves, a scooter, helmet, and a Walmart gift card for their family. We encourage you to give what you feel led to give to help bless a child and their family.
