This year, we have become familiar with many things. Making bread. Building puzzles. Searching for toilet paper. Telling others to unmute themselves. We’ve also become familiar with waiting. Waiting as we wish for a brighter tomorrow. Waiting as we hope for a better next year.Waiting as we pray for peace. In many ways, this is how people in the old testament felt for many years. They were waiting, and anxiously hopeful for better days ahead. And what they got was the ultimate gift of all. Advent.
